“BE ROOTED IN CHRIST” (Colossians 2:6-7)

Rev Grace Lubaale

5TH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY, SUNDAY 21ST JULY 2019

You are all most welcome to this service in the Precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour.
Today we are looking at “Being Rooted in Christ” So that we are firm in our faith. This therefore requires one to do the following:
Put to Death
Is to end things that are alive in you: Sexual Immorality, Impurity, Lust, Evil Desires, Greed, and Idolatry, Colo.3:5
Rid Yourself Out
Is to get out or abandon things you are practicing: Anger, Rage, Malice, Slander, and Filthy Language from Your Lips, Colo.3:8
Compulsory
Everyone is required to comply; there is no Gentile, or Jew, Circumcised or Uncircumcised, Barbarism, Scythian, Slave or Free, but Christ is All in All. Colo.3:11
Salvation Requirement
Clothe yourselves with: Compassion, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness, Patience, Tolerance and Forgiveness
Put on LOVE which binds them all together in perfect unity?
Christ’s peace rule in your hearts, ever thankful, teach and admonish each other with wisdom from Psalms, Hymns, Proverbs, and Songs of the Spirit. Colo. 3:12
Conclusion
All you do whether in WORD OR DEED, do it all in the name of the LORD JESUS while giving thanks to GOD THE FATHER through JESUS by Empowerment of the HOLY SPIRIT.
Blessings in Christ Jesus
