Roles within Prayer and Intercession Ministries:

  • Standing in the Gap:Intercessors act as a bridge between God and others, mediating on their behalf to prevent darkness from prevailing and to allow God’s purposes to be fulfilled.
  • Releasing God’s Power:Intercession is a way to release God’s power into situations and lives, bringing about positive change and transformation.
  • Meeting Spiritual Needs:Intercessors may pray for healing, guidance, protection, and other needs, actively participating in spiritual warfare.
  • Supporting Missionaries and Leaders:Intercession can be crucial for supporting missionaries, church leaders, and those serving in various ministries.
  • Promoting Spiritual Growth:Intercession can stir up spiritual hunger, prepare hearts to receive the Gospel, and foster a deeper relationship with God.
  • Praying Consistently and Persistently:Intercessors are committed to praying regularly and diligently, seeking God’s will and His purposes.
  • Discernment:Intercessors strive to discern God’s will and align their prayers accordingly.
  • Fasting:Some intercessors may incorporate fasting as part of their prayer practice, seeking deeper spiritual connection and breakthrough.
  • Leading Prayer:Intercessors can lead prayer sessions, guide others in prayer, and teach about prayer and intercession.
  • Building Relationships:Intercessors can build relationships with those they pray for, demonstrating care and support.
  • Equipping Others:Intercessors can train and equip others to pray and intercede, expanding the ministry’s reach.
