IF YOU WILL WALK IN MY WAYS…Zach. 3:7

  1. 20TH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY, SUNDAY OF 14th OCTOBER 2018
  2. LUKE’S MISSION WEEK 2018 IS STARTING TODAY

OBJECTIVE: PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THEME: “IF YOU WILL WALK IN MY WAYS”…ZACH. 3:7

CHAPLAIN’S WORD

Once again you are all welcome for today’s service in the most precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today we are starting St. Luke’s mission week. In a special way we welcome the mission coordinator of Kampala Diocese.

This year our Theme; is “If you will walk in my ways…” (Zach 3:7)

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: If thou will walk in my ways, and if thou will keep my charge, then thou shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by”. (Zach. 3:7).

The above scripture shows that the Lord God requires of His people the discipline of walking in His ways and keeping His laws or commands. Once this is observed, then He would automatically make them leaders of His people with the full responsibility for running the affairs of God’s Kingdom!! What an amount of trust!

Therefore, let us examine our lives in light of this scripture and repent of every sin that may be stopping us from walking properly in our God’s ways. May this year’s St. Luke’s mission week bring a season of revival in all areas of our lives in the mighty name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Blessings in Christ Jesus.

Udongo Albert Festus (Rev. Canon)
